Roses are red, violets are blue, our Violet Frappe recipe is perfect for you! Parma violets are well and truly making their comeback, and this recipe is the perfect way to embrace a nostalgic flavour you know and love.

Our sweet vanilla frappe powder is a fantastic base for floral violet notes and sugary toppings. This springtime special will look great on your Instagram page on its own or surrounded by Easter treats (think mini eggs and chocolate bunnies).

We recommend white chocolate sauce and multi-coloured sprinkles, but don’t be afraid to mix up your toppings! Crush up some parma violet sweets or sprinkle on freeze dried strawberries. A colourful drizzle of raspberry sauce is another great option.

  1. Add the milk, vanilla frappe powder and violet syrup to a blender.
  2. Add a cup of ice and blend for 30 seconds or until smooth.
  3. Pour the blender contents into a cup and top with whipped cream.
  4. Decorate with white chocolate sauce and sugar strands.
